Join Westside Fly for an unforgettable fly fishing expedition to Magdalena Bay, Baja California Sur, one of the most exciting and remote fisheries on the Pacific Coast.

Magdalena Bay is wild, remote, and incredibly productive. In October and early November, the conditions can be exceptional - bait concentrated along the coast and offshore waters alive with predatory fish. El Niño conditions this year are setting the stage for BIG dorado and yellowtail. It’s the kind of place where every morning starts with the possibility of something epic.

We’ll stay together at Hotel Isabella, a comfortable and newly-renovated bed and breakfast in San Carlos, with private transportation provided to and from Loreto International Airport.

Each fishing day is designed around the conditions and the fish we’re pursuing. Three days will be dedicated to offshore fishing, targeting striped marlin, dorado, yellowtail, and other pelagic species. One additional day will be dedicated entirely to roosterfish, giving us the opportunity to slow down, get in close, and hunt fish on the fly.

This is a fully hosted Westside Fly expedition - with Captain Marco at Magdalena Bay Sport Fishing - designed for a small group of anglers who want to fish hard, travel well, and experience Baja the way we believe it should be experienced. Your veteran host Frankie Vargas brings many years of experience fishing Mag Bay and has built a deep knowledge of its waters, seasons, and fishery.
